- Miao Lan causes a scene and wants to die. She apologizes to Mrs. Lang. Mrs. Lang knows she’s at fault as well. They hug it out.
- Yue Ming, Mo Hua, and Ah Wen go looking for Yue Xuan. Yue Ming gets angry and fights with Mo Hua.
- The three find Yue Xuan outside Hai Tang’s home. Yue Ming yells at Yue Xuan for not treating Lang family right. Yue Xuan leaves to find Hai Tang.
- Long De Shui meets with General Ma Mo. Ma Mo asks for more money for the troops. Long De Shui asks Si Nian. Si Nian gives some money.
Yue Xuan and Hai Tang Break Up
- Yue Xuan finds Hai Tang at the hospital. She acts cold to him. Hai Tang tells him to not mind her as much. She asks for a break. Yue Xuan wants to know why. She tells him she won’t leave Kunyang until she figures some stuff out.
- Fan Zhen visits Hai Tang and gives her the finished lipstick product. Hai Tang realizes something is wrong with the lipstick.
- Yue Xuan is in despair. Ah Wen tries to comfort him. Yue Xuan decides to wait for Hai Tang.
- Long De Shui vents to Mo Hua about Lang family and yells at her. Ah Wen tells Mo Hua Yue Xuan and Hai Tang broke up. They go find Yue Xuan. He’s not at the garden.
Lang Li Chun’s Downfall
- Shi Ji Zhou talks business with Long De Shui. They agree to work together and De Shui helps him stops goods for the other competitors from coming in to the city.
- Lang Li Chun has to shut down production because they have no more supplies. Si Nian asks for Yue Xuan to come back. Hai Tang comes in and tells Si Nian and Yue Ming the lipstick used synthetic oils.
- Manager Shang and Yue Ming investigate. The other workers say Chu Chu must’ve messed with the lipstick.
- Yue Xuan comes back to work. Yue Ming blames everything on Yue Xuan.
- Si Nian tells Yue Ming to recall all the lipsticks. Yue Ming suggests that Yue Xuan was careless and wanted more profits.
