- Shi Ji Zhou knows he’s been tricked. Mr. Hu shows up with Yue Xuan and Ji Zhou realizes he’s been played.
- Hai Tang wakes tied up by Yue Ming. Yue Xuan comes in and Yue Ming holds a knife to her throat. Yue Ming hates Yue Xuan and thinks Yue Xuan forced him to make all the bad choices. He tells him to choose between the bottles – water and sulphuric acid. Yue Xuan picks one of them to pour on his face. Hai Tang kicks away Yue Ming and the bottle falls on the floor.
- Si Nian comes back home. He knows a lot has happened after he left but he had devised a plan with Yue Xuan against Shi Ji Zhou. Yue Ming doesn’t believe he’s wrong.
The Secret Is Out
- Yue Ming announces that Yue Xuan is Si Nian’s son. He asks for the truth from Si Nian. Si Nian confirms Yue Xuan is Yan Zhi’s son. They all start yelling at one another.
- Shi Ji Zhou arrives with the deed to Lang manor. He kicks them out of the house. Shi Ji Zhou tells them Mrs. Lang killed Yan Zhi and tells them everything about the past.
- Si Nian tells Lang family everything. He fell in love with Yan Zhi but found out she was kicked out of Lang family while he was on business. Mrs. Lang hated Yan Zhi and got in a fight with her, killing her. Yue Xuan doesn’t know what to feel.
- After Yan Zhi died, Si Nian found Gu Shun Qi to help with the funeral. Shi Ji Zhou takes interest to Shun Qi’s Fu Rong Gao. Manager Shang told Si Nian Yue Xuan is his son. He follows Shi Ji Zhou who shows him Mrs. Lang’s hairpin. They strike a deal to never mention Mrs. Lang killing Yan Zhi, and Ji Zhou killing Gu Shun Qi. Si Nian takes in Yue Xuan as an adopted son.
- Yue Xuan and Hai Tang comfort one another. Hai Tang tells him she’ll be by his side through everything.
- Si Nian and Mrs. Lang have a heart-to-heart. They apologize to one another for their wrongs.
