Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from Yan Shiwu’s novel “Daddy, Mommy’s Vest is Exposed”. It tells the story of doll designer Zhou Mian and CEO Lu Yunkai, who meet again after experiencing an “escape from marriage incident”. The two begin to test each other and fall in love. It’s a sweet love story where misunderstandings are gradually solved, workplace crises are fixed, and finally, they are reunited.
Plot Synopsis:
During a wedding at sea six years ago, the bride Zhou Mian tries to escape on her wedding day. She falls into the sea and is rescued by Mai Ke. Only then did she learn that the death of her parents was closely related to her fiancé Lu Yunkai. She and Mai Ke form a “Victims Alliance” and swears to avenge her parents.
Six years later, Zhou Mian returns to the country and attends a domestic charity reception as the top international designer Helsing, facing Lu Yunkai head-on.
Lu Yunkai suspects that Helsing was his late wife Zhou Mian and tests her many times. Zhou Mian does not give in, but boldly joins Lu Yunkai’s Wuxin Company.
In order to find out the details of each other, the lovers flirt with each other and almost get into trouble.
Zhou Mian discovers that Lu Yunkai has never given up searching for her in the past six years. There was something more behind the accident at her parents’ toy factory. Mai Ke repeatedly uses despicable means to urge Zhou Mian to defeat Lu Yunkai.
At the last moment, Zhou Mian changes sides and works with Lu Yunkai to resolve the crisis, uncover the truth, and reunite with one another.
