- They go visit Hao Qian’s mom. An Ning talks to her alone about Hao Qian’s dad. An Ning tells her she misunderstood Hao Qian’s father and that he’s sick. She thinks back to seeing him with another woman.
Matchmaking Hao Qian’s Parents
- An Ning asks Hao Qian if a misunderstanding thought to be true would upset him. Hao Qian thinks she’s talking about their one night stand. She says they should book a suite and make it romantic.
- An Ning tells Xia Tian she saw a memory of Hao Qian’s mom’s friend setting up his dad. Because of this, she divorced him.
- Meng Lu asks Gong Chen when they’ll get married. She gives him attitude.
- Hao Qian imagines his romantic night with An Ning and giggles.
- An Ning arrives and he leans in for a kiss. His parents show up.
- Meng Lu goes to return a suit to Mr. Ling, L-Group’s CEO. She hides in the men’s washroom and sees him.
- Hao Qian’s parents talk about the cancer. He just wants to be with his family.
- An Ning helps Hao Qian’s mom prepare lunch. The four of them spend time together.
- Meng Lu and Mr. Ling go out for lunch. She tells him the story of Pachelbel.
