- An Ning’s mom prepares to take an apprentice to learn how to make cheongsams.
- An Ning drinks a lot. She imagines her dad. He tells her to not run away from her problems. Hao Qian watches and brings her home.
- An Ning talks to her mom. Her mom tells her there are three things a man can do that are unforgivable: unfilial to parents and disrespectful to elders, abusive to women, and addicted to drugs and gambling.
