- The generals from the five kingdoms gather to discuss war with Ying Wu Yi. Bai Yi says they will be ready in three days. He doesn’t tell them his strategy but wants their help. General Xi supports him. Ning Qin and the other generals follow suit.
- Yu Ran tries to run away but it doesn’t work. Tian Zhan wants Ji Wu Shen, which he believes is her. The Bird King’s daughter has Ji Wu Shen’s blood and will save the entire Bird tribe.
- Yu Ran asks who killed her father. Tian Zhan doesn’t say but shows her his wings, which are damaged.
- Bi Cheng tells the grand princess everything is set in place. He’ll be leaving.
- The other generals are angry with Bai Yi. He hasn’t told them any plan. General Xi stays calm. He bets that Bai Yi will win.
The Battle Begins
- Ying Yu tells Ji Ye to escape before the battle. He wants to stay for Gui Chen.
- Ying Yu starts feeling unwell and faints.
- General Xi and Bai Yi talk. He worries about Ning Qin and his motives.
- Ying Wu Yi and his generals find out soldiers have been poisoned through tampered water. It’s Bai Yi’s doing.
- Ying Wu Yi checks on Ying Yu. She’s not scared because her dad is here.
- Bai Yi burns wood, and the wind carries the poisonous smoke to Shan Yang Guan.
- The next day, the battle begins. Bai Yi uses the north winds to his advantage. He throws fireballs at the city, trying to force Li soldiers out.
- Ying Wu Yi decides to open the city doors and come out. He tells Ji Ye to take care of Ying Yu.
- Both sides head to the battlefield and start fighting. Li soldiers get surrounded. Ying Wu Yi tells Ji Ye to bring Ying Yu to safety.
- The Li soldiers cannot break through the square formation. They decide to blindfold their horses and charge forward.
