- They kiss. Xiao Qi falls in a daze and leaves to the restaurant.
Fang Leng Confronts Xiao Qi
- Jiang Xue shows Fang Leng evidence that Xiao Qi stole the sapphires.
- Fang Leng asks Xiao Qi for an explanation. She can’t tell him why she took it. He’s angry she hid it from him and feels he can’t trust her anymore. He leaves.
- Jiang Xue makes it clear to Allen he needs to listen to her. They’re happy they kicked out Xiao Qi.
- Xiao Qi tries to find a way to leave Earth. Xiao Bu and her think of ways for her to kill herself so she can head home. She tries everything and decides to starve herself to death. Sister Chai tells Fang Leng.
- Fang Leng finds Xiao Qi. She tells him her dying is not related to him. He tells her he can’t die while she is still his employee.
- Fang Lie goes to work on the condition that his mom stop fighting with Fang Leng. He’s given the title of Director of Special Projects.
Xiao Qi Quits
- Xiao Qi gives in her resignation letter. Fang Leng tells her she can’t quit because she signed a contract. She sees Fang Lie at work and vents to him about what to do.
- The next day Xiao Qi goes in to work. She gives Fang Leng attitude in the hopes he’ll fire her. He gives her useless work.
- After work they head to the hospital to keep up the act for his family. They ignore one another. He makes them answer questions for his evaluation. Xiao Qi forgets their first kiss was in the freezer.
- Doctor Zhang tells Xiao Qi Fang Leng treats her as an important person and she should help him with his illness. She doesn’t want to and leave. Han tells her he’s a psychiatric patient and she’s helped him change.
- Xiao Qi heads back and asks Doctor Zhang more about Fang Leng’s illness. He tells her she needs to make Fang Leng feel safe and compliment him.
- Xiao Qi gives him a massage.
