- He Yu and Yao Qing drink. They feel sad but also like they have closure. They head back to He Yu’s home and hook up. The next morning, Xing Yun smiles as she heads to work. She takes back her lucky cat from Xia Ke’s desk.
- He Yu deals with the aftermath of sleeping with Yao Qing. He’s awkward while Yao Qing is nonchalant. He doesn’t want to forget what happened. Yao Qing doesn’t want to make it a big deal and leaves.
- The company is sparse with people. Yi Yi tells Xing Yun of all the people who left.
- Xia Ke arrives and Xing Yun asks him about the finances. He wants to talk about last night but she stops him.
- He Yu doesn’t understand why Yao Qing seemed like she didn’t care. He thinks back to the first time he met her.
- Yao Qing practices kendo. Xing Yun comes to get the truth about TIG. She tells Yao Qing she likes Xia Ke.
- He Yu looks at Yao Qing’s earring and Xing Yun’s four-leaf clover necklace.
Xia Ke’s Homeless
- Xing Yun heads into work and sees Xia Ke brushing his teeth. She wonders if he’s living at work.
- He Yu comes to work and finds Yao Qin has left the project.
- Xing Yun stays late to try to see when Xia Ke will stop work. Her dad rushes her. The next day, she wakes super early.
- Xing Yun heads into TIG and sees Xia Ke sleeping on the couch. She puts a blanket on him.
- Xing Yun discovers Xia Ke sold his home. She avoids Xia Ke at work. He asks why she’s being mysterious.
- Xing Yun gets Xia Ke to drop her off home. She shows him Aunt Wong’s empty home, which is adjacent to hers.
- Xia Ke looks around the apartment. Xing Yun has left little notes for him.
- Xing Yun’s mom finds out. She decides to help by providing food. Xing Yun packs the food and heads next door.
