- Wan Er and Fan Xian hide from the servant girl who comes in to check on her. Fan Xian lies beside her in bed.
Lucky in Love
- Wan Er tells him to leave. Fan Xian can’t believe he’s so lucky – the person who he likes is actually his betrothed. He promises he’ll help her treat her sickness. He tells her a story about a couple. She treats the story as reality and talks about the rules. He doesn’t want them to miss an opportunity of a lifetime.
- Wan Er asks about Red Mansion. Fan Xian says he’ll tell her all the stories he knows. He’s grateful his betrothed is her. She is too.
- The next day Wan Er tells Ling Er the doctor is actually Fan Xian. Ling Er decides to find Si Li Li to find out what happened.
- Wan Er enters the palace to visit her mother, Li Yun Rei. Li Yun Rei tells Wan Er the marriage will be cancelled very soon. Wan Er says they don’t need to cancel. She denies having feelings for Fan Xian in front of her mother.
- Fan Xian makes himself a breakfast sandwich. Jing Wang Shi Zi comes invite him to meet with the Second Prince tomorrow.
- Ling Er goes find Si Li Li. She secretly sees Li Li give two masked figures a token. She sees another figure and is shocked at who it is. Ling Er makes noise and they chase after her. She falls into the water, injured.
Night Visits to Wan Er
- Fan Xian puts on perfume and goes visit Wan Er. She thinks he smells like a five-spiced duck. Wan Er says it’s not respectful for him to climb in and visit at night. Fan Xian shows her the medicine he’s brought.
- Teng Zi Jing heads home. His son finally calls him father. He’s made a wooden horse for him to play.
- Wan Er drinks the medicine. One ingredient makes her drunk. She runs around opening windows. Fan Xian calms her down and tells her stories. While she sleeps he tells her he’s from another universe.
On the Road to Meet the Second Prince
- The next day, Fan Xian and Teng Zi Jing head to Zui Xian Ju to meet the Second Prince.
- The two masked figures open the chained box. Inside is Cheng Ju Shu, Bei Qi’s 8th Level Fighter. They show him the token and he stops fighting.
- Fan Xian and Teng Zi Jing talk about life, family, and sacrificing oneself for the people you love. The Second Prince waits for him.
