- Tong Nian hugs him then bites him. He finds out she’s drank an entire bottle of beer. She pounces him and kisses him.
- Zheng Hui visits Tong Nian’s parents and brings gifts. Tong Nian’s mom calls her.
- Shang Yan tries to stop Tong Nian from answering but fails. She tells her mom she’s at Shang Yan’s home. He takes the phone and says he’ll explain to them properly.
- Tong Nian’s mom is furious but her dad thinks Shang Yan treats Tong Nian well.
- Tong Nian wakes. Shang Yan tells her he’ll go with her to her parents.
Meeting the Parents
- They get ready and Shang Yan wears a suit. They go in to face her parents.
- Shang Yan apologizes and explains himself. He tells them he met her two years ago and fell in love with her and chased after her (all of which isn’t actually true). Tong Nian has become a part of his life and he asks for a second chance.
- Tong Nian’s mom is still upset and forces Tong Nian to go upstairs. Her dad tells Shang Yan to head up to comfort her.
- Shang Yan comes to Tong Nian’s room. She asks him why he lied. He says everything is true except the fact he’ll be responsible for her. He tells her the first night she got drunk he knew he already liked her.
- Shang Yan heads home and calls his step-mom. He asks for her help to talk to Tong Nian’s parents.
Giving Tong Nian a School Romance
- Shang Yan chats with Xiao Mi about marriage. Xiao Mi thinks it’s unfortunate Shang Yan and Tong Nian have never experienced school romance.
- Shang Yan waits for Tong Nian while she invigilates. Shang Yan waits outside with flowers.
- They head into the classroom to wait for the professor.
