Meeting the Parents
- They sit in the living room. They’re awkward and don’t know what to do. Shang Yan looks at her childhood photos. She asks what his step-mom and her parents talked about the day they met. He tells her he wanted to show his commitment to her.
- Shang Yan weaves an elaborate story and Tong Nian knows it’s fake. He grabs her and hugs her close. He tells her all she needs to know is he loves her.
- Her parents come home. They eat dinner together. Shang Yan washes the dishes after. Her parents try to stop him.
- Tong Nian walks him out. She wants him to kiss her. The security guard interrupts. The guard lets slip that Shang Yan regularly stays outside overnight.
- Tong Nian teases him. Shang Yan grabs her and kisses her against the car. He watches her leave before heading home.
- Her mom tells Tong Nian she misunderstood Shang Yan. She sees that he makes Tong Nian very happy. Initially he only had the word championship in his head. But now it’s championship and Tong Nian. She knows he’ll treasure Tong Nian.
K&K Prepare for Asia Finals
- Buff arrives to K&K. Shang Yan talks to him about love.
- K&K holds a meeting. Buff introduces himself. He’ll train with the team and then they’ll host an internal competition to determine the final line-up.
- K&K team and Shang Yan chat privately. They all vow to work hard to keep their rankings up. Shang Yan asks 97 to plan a team outing.
- K&K continues their training. No one sits with Buff for lunch. 97 joins him.
- Zheng Hui finds Tong Nian at her dorms. He wants her to pick him and she rejects it.
