- Fan Zhen meets with Shi Ji Zhou. He thinks she’s not the right fit for Ah Wen. He wants her to be his spy. She denies the offer.
- Fan Zhen is in a bad mood. She vents to Hai Tang and says she’ll stop liking Ah Wen.
- Shi Ji Zhou gives a branch for Ah Wen to manage. Shi Ji Zhou tells Ah Wen to chase after Mo Hua. Ah Wen is in a bad mood and talks to his mom. He wonders if he leaves Shi family if he’ll be happier.
- Fan Zhen meets with Ah Wen and tells him they’re not right for each other. He wants them to be friends.
The Rumour
- Shi Ji Zhou gives intel to the newspaper editor, defaming Lang family and saying Yue Xuan and his sister-in-law are romantic.
- The next day, customers come in requesting refunds and Wan wants to return his entire order. Yue Ming says he’ll handle the scandal.
- Lang Li Chun workers gossip about the article. Yue Xuan wants to hold a press conference to clear his name.
- Yue Xuan finds Miao Lan and asks her to come forward with the truth.
The Press Conference
- The next day, Yue Xuan gives a speech at the press conference. Miao Lan comes forward with the truth and says she’s innocent. She blames Hai Tang for the slander. She points a knife at Hai Tang.
- Ah Wen stops Miao Lan and Hai Tang leaves the scene with Yue Ming. She doesn’t understand why Miao Lan thinks that of her.
- Si Nian lectures his sons. He wants Yue Xuan to keep he and Hai Tang’s relationship low.
- Miao Lan continues to badmouth Hai Tang in front of Mrs. Lang. Mrs. Lang understands Miao Lan’s heart and supports her.
