- On the boat, the team looks at glaciers. Zi Tao tries to find polar bears.
- They head back inside to wear their winter suits. They hear the captain’s story. After, they head out on a float onto the glacier. They arrive onto an island and have to cross it to see the glacier. The four play with ice and take pictures.
- Together they see how the glacier was 100 years ago versus today. After, they head back to the ship.
- Zi Tao and Yan Lin talk with Modun about polar bears and about the show. They also talk to their captain about the changes in the Arctic and the impact China has with its large population.
- Yan Lin and Yin Zheng fish outside. Zi Tao sings. They’re unable to catch any fish.
Night on the Ship
- Inside, the chef asks Yin Zheng and Dong Yu on how to make dumplings. Yan Lin knows how to make the dumpling dough. Everyone helps to wrap dumplings. After, they eat dumplings for dinner. They share it with every member on board.
- Yan Lin tries to take a shower and Zi Tao stops him. They’ve promised each other they won’t shower for two days.
- There’s only one more day left to search for polar bears. In the morning, the alarm rings. They put on their survival safety suits and jump in the water.
- After, they eat breakfast. Then they head out to the glacier again to find polar bears.
