- Xing Xin uses the “cat and mouse” strategy to surprise attack Lan Yu.
- Wei Chen and Wen Zhou face each other. Wei Chen flashes back to when they battled in practice during his time in Lan Yu and he lost. They battle again and again and Wen Zhou wins every time.
- Ye Xiu stops the trap Wen Zhou has set for Wei Chen. He and Wei Chen start fighting each other, though they are on the same team. The buildings start to fall, trapping Lan Yu as Xing Xin escapes.
- Xing Xin wins and gets the five points they need to advance to the challenge competition.
- Ye Xiu gives Wei Chen’s weapon back to him. He wanted to test Wei Chen’s awareness without it.
- Wen Zhou finds Wei Chen. Wei Chen compliments him on Lan Yu’s past games. Wen Zhou thanks Wei Chen for all his teachings.
- Ye Xiu talks with Wei Chen. He invites Wei Chen to join Xing Xin.
Entering the Challenge Competition
- Jia Shi is first on the list while Xing Xin is 20th. They make a bet outside of the competition. If Xing Xin loses, they have to withdraw from the competition.
- Shi Qin talks to Tao Xuan about Sun Xiang. He worries about Sun Xian’s mental state as he tries to live up to Ye Xiu’s gamer ID and the captain position.
- Xing Xin discusses strategy against Jia Shi. They need someone fast to face Shi Qin. Ye Xiu thinks back to the ninja he met in the game.
Recruiting the Ninja
- Ye Xiu finds the ninja in the game to try to recruit him. He runs away.
- They go to find the ninja in person. They think it’s the cafe manager but it’s really the server. Mo Fan leaves and they can’t find him.
- Mo Fan logs onto Glory. He doesn’t respond to Ye Xiu’s questions. They fight again and again and Mo Fan loses.
- Ye Xiu tortures him and puts him in a ditch. Mo Fan can’t die, run away, or fight back. Ye Xiu gives him Xing Xin’s address so Mo Fan can find them.
- Mo Fan arrives to Happy Internet cafe. Ye Xiu welcomes him to Xing Xin.
