The Game of Glory
- A dragon swoops down on the stadium for the Glory Pro League Season 8 competition. It’s the seventh competition and it’ll be between Team Wei Cao and Team Jia Shi.
- Team Jia She has Ye Qiu and Su Mu Cheng – winners of the best partner award for three seasons in a row.
- In the game, Wei Cao backs away. Chen Ye Hui of Team Jia Shi rushes forward and dies.
- The duo Mu Cheng and Ye Qiu teams up and wins.
- After, Ye Qiu doesn’t participate in any media events or promotions.
- The team reviews the competition videos. Ye Qiu lectures Chen Ye Hui for acting individually and tells him to go to the fan club
- The manager talks with Ye Qiu. He asks about the team and wants more business opportunities.
- The manager announces Sun Xiang will be taking over as captain. He asks for Ye Qiu’s gaming ID.
- Ye Qiu decides to quit. He walks out of Team Jia Shi.
- On the way out Chen Ye Hui talks down to Ye Qiu.
- Ye Qiu goes to the grocery store and sees Mu Cheng. He tells her he broke the contract. She wants to go with him but he tells her to stay.
Happy Internet Cafe
- Ye Qiu enters Happy Internet Cafe. He inputs his gaming ID card. It’s the ID Jun Mo Xiao, from the first server. Glory is now in it’s 10th year and 10th server. He finds his weapon, Qian Ji San, a Myriad Manifestation Umbrella.
- Ye Qiu picks his character role, an Unspecialized class.
- The owner of Happy Internet Cafe, Chen Guo plays Glory. Ye Qiu goes to pay the bill and takes over her ID. He wins the match.
- He tells her he’s here to take the job.
