- Xiao Rou falls asleep in the car. Chi Xin thinks back to their memories together.
- They arrive at the village. Xiao Rou can’t believe it’s a poor village and not a five-star hotel. They don’t even have reception.
- Chi Xin and Xiao Rou bike to the project site. Xiao Rou’s heartbeat increases. Where Mr. Mao wanted them to plant the tree is now filled with a residential home.
- Zheng Ze and Sa Sa talk about Xiao Rou. She wishes him good luck with Xiao Rou.
- Xiao Rou and Chi Xin eat dinner with their host family.
- Zhen Zheng and Ming Zhu discuss Chi Xin’s resignation. They find it weird he doesn’t have a Plan B.
- Xiao Rou and Chi Xin visit the family’s home. The owner objects to them planting a tree. She tells them her father left 2 years after building this home and her mother waits everyday. A tree would change how the original house looked.
- Xiao Rou falls off the side of the road. Chi Xin holds onto her then lets go because the cliff is short.
- The owner agrees to let them use the wall instead of planting a tree. They head off to another village to buy some materials. Xiao Rou posts a picture of them online to let everyone know she’s safe.
- Tong Liang finds Zheng Ze. He wants Zheng Ze to sponsor the show in return for some intel on Chi Xin.
