- The next morning Xiao Rou wakes and her mom has left. She reads her mom’s letter. Her mom supports her dreams and wants her to stay in the city. She’s happy Xiao Rou has created a life for herself with her career aspirations and supportive friends.
- At work Chi Xin receives photos from the stalker of him and Xiao Rou. He knows Tong Liang is the one behind this.
- Tong Liang threatens Chi Xin with the photos and wants him to leave the company.
- Xiao Rou returns to work. Zheng Ze is happy with this news. They eat ice cream together.
- Xiao Rou invites her friends over for hotpot. Slowly, each of them cancel on her for different reasons except for Chi Xin.
- Xiao Rou sets up the hotpot dinner on the rooftop. She thanks Chi Xin for taking care of her mom. They cheers together.
