- A lawyer meets with Qiu Ying and Yi Yi. He tells her the best way out of this would be to make peace and settle.
- Xia Ling comes to Qiu Ying’s home. She has no money to pay rent. He wants her to come home. She tells him to leave.
- Xia Ling talks to his dad at home. He tells their dad about Qiu Ying’s dire situation.
- Xia Ling and their dad come visit Qiu Ying. She denies having such a brother. Xia Ling leaves. Qiu Ying and her dad fight. She’s mad at him for leaving her mom while she was sick. Qiu Ying doesn’t want anything to do with him.
- Qiu Ying thinks back to her childhood and starts crying.
- Xia Ling thinks it’s his fault their dad and Qiu Ying have a poor relationship.
- Yi Xuan meets Yi Yi for coffee. He wants Qiu Ying to apologize. Yi Yi says someone purposefully wants to harm Xiang Kong and dragged Qiu Ying into it.
- Yi Xuan, Xiang Kong, and Sun Ge discuss the situation. They think their manager is behind the whole thing.
- Qiu Ying sells her home. Yi Yi supports her through the troubles.
- Xiang Kong talks to the manager who prevents him from meeting Jeffrey.
- Qiu Ying finds the manager to discuss the lawsuit. She gets into a car with him, Xiang Kong sees.
- In the car the manager assaults Qiu Ying. Xiang Kong rescues her and hits the manager. Qiu Ying runs away, crying. Xiang Kong follows her.
- She drinks in a convenience store. Xiang Kong watches. She gets drunk, he takes care of her and she yells at him.
