GDV Competition:
- For the final round of the competition, Qiao Xin and Qiu Ying commentates on a clip. She and Xiang Kong look at each other while she presents.
- The judges vote. Summer and Luo Tian give their vote to Qiu Ying. Mi Ya also votes for Qiu Ying. As a result, Qiu Ying wins the GDV competition and gets to work at GDV.
- Outside, Qiu Ying’s banners fall on the street. Xia Ling picks them up and is hit by a car.
- Qiu Ying talks to Mi Ya after the competition. Mi Ya invites her to her media conference.
- Qiu Ying, Xiang Kong, Yi Yi, Yi Xuan go celebrate at the bbq restaurant. They discuss Mi Ya’s song, written about her first love.
- Mi Ya asks her manager for the truth about what happened with Xiang Kong. Xiang Kong had told the manager he won’t get in the way of her success. They’re currently in two different worlds and he wants her to forget the past. Her manager shows her pictures of Xiang Kong and Qiu Ying.
Xia Ling is injured:
- Mi Ya comes to the restaurant to see Xiang Kong. Qiu Ying gets a phone call about Xia Ling in the hospital and Xiang Kong rushes to bring her to him.
- In the hospital Xia Ling’s mom hits Qiu Ying. Qiu Ying gives him blood for his surgery.
- Yi Yi tells Yi Xuan about Qiu Ying’s family drama. Xia Ling and his mother were neighbours and he and Qiu Ying were initially very close. After Qiu Ying’s mother passed away, her dad married his mom. Qiu Ying never forgave her dad and left home during university. Xia Ling kept on trying to mend her relationship with their dad.
- They wait in the hospital. Xiang Kong comforts Qiu Ying. The surgery IS a success but Xia Ling is deeply injured.
GDV:
- Qiu Ying arrives late to GDV. Qiao Xin covered for her and Luo Tian is angry she’s late. He hands her off to another coworker.
- Xiang Kong meets her at GDV. Qiu Ying is angry at herself for how she treated Xia Ling. He hugs her.
- Qiu Ying heads to the hospital and overhears Xia Ling praising her. They chat. Her dad sits outside and they talk.
- Qiu Ying arrives to the gaming cafe and talks to Pei Xi.
- Luo Tian sees her working OT at GDV. He acts nice to her. Turns out Xiang Kong told him about what happened with her brother. He takes out the gift Qiu Ying had given him.
- Qiu Ying sees Qiao Xin and Qi Yue together.
