- Min Min overhears other girls gossiping about her in the dorms. Her friend comes and Min Min asks if the entire school knows about her failed confession. Her friend wants to fight them but Min Min tells her to let it go. She shows Jenny the apartment she got from Lu Ming.
Yuan Song’s New Girlfriend
- Fan Xing dresses up to walk the dog. Can Yang runs into her and tells her about Yuan Song’s new girlfriend. He asks if she’s curious and wants her to take care of his student.
- Fan Xing meets up with Yuan Song. She asks for his phone and he adds her fingerprint ID to it. She asks about the picture and he tells her he only sent it to the school group to stop the girls from having hope with him.
- Fan Xing still doesn’t think it’s good he sent out the message. Yuan Song apologizes. They go walk the dogs after.
- Lu Ming and Steven chat. Steven wishes that if there was a time machine to go back to when his son was younger. He wishes he’d be able to spend more time and watch over him. Now his son is rebellious and won’t listen. The son is to eventually take over his father’s business.
- At work Su Li tells Lu Ming his sister is getting anxious in finding him a wife. He tells her to stop looking as he really liked last week’s blind date.
Work Life
- Su Li meets up with Cong Xiao. Cong Xiao is sad she wasn’t the one who went on the blind date with Lu Ming. Su Li tells her he’s an overbearing boss.
- Fan Xing eats lunch with some coworkers. She agrees to sponsor the work gathering. Yuan Song joins them. They’re jealous he always gets a chicken leg from the kitchen lady while they don’t. He gives it to Fan Xing.
- Yuan Song visits Can Yang at school. Can Yang asks about his new girlfriend but he keeps quiet about it. Can Yang thinks it’s a fake girlfriend.
First Date
- Fan Xing and her friends text. Xiao Yu has resigned and officially become a stay at home mom. Yuan Song comes join her at the movie theatres. Fan Xing shows him an agreement she’s written up for the first three months. It includes maintaining a distance in public areas, staying neutral at work, and not showing pictures on social media.
- Fan Xing thinks about how going to the movies is romantic. She imagines getting scared and having Yuan Song protect her. But in reality, she doesn’t get scared at the horror films after watching so many with her brother.
- After the movie, Yuan Song tells her Can Yang told him she doesn’t get scared at horror films. They have to cut the date early. Yuan Song eats popcorn off her shoulder.
- Lu Ming calls Fan Xing for help with Zhao Tao Hua. She recommends he get his dog neutered. She tells him about how she got Bei Le Ye. Fan Xing asks Lu Ming why he’s still single. He drops her back home. They run into Aunt Wang and she think it’s her boyfriend.
