- The next day, Yi Fan and Lei Lei sneak out to go tutor. They head over to tutor a student.
- Fang Yuan gets a call from the director for a new job.
- People in the complex lay out flowers and candles for Ding Yi.
- Yang Yang and his parents continue to search for what Ding Yi lost. They find his note and drawing. Ding Yi had hoped to be happy and to stay young at heart.
- Song Qian watches Ying Zi. Ying Zi pretends and sits up when she leaves. It’s her 10th day of insomnia.
- Ying Zi cries as she wonders if she should have stayed with Ding Yi longer that night. She feels she can’t be happy right now and just wants to cry all the time.
- Song Qian looks at an old photo of Ding Yi. She realizes he was never happy.
- Teacher Li talks about the suicide at school. During the winter break, the school has arranged for therapists to be available.
- Ying Zi meets with Liu Jing. Liu Jing gives her gifts. Ying Zi cries.
