Plot Synoposis:
Tan Jing Tian is a graduate student. He majors in toxicology and entomology at the Provincial Institute of Entomology. By chance, he gets involved in a bizarre case.
The case involves a rare insect, the bullet ant. The police thought it was involved in the cause of death.
Tan Jing Tian assists the police in the case. He also meets young female forensic doctor Jin Ling.
His professional knowledge in insects and Jin Ling’s precise forensic analysis complement each other. He also cooperates with police captain Chen Han.
Tan Jing Tian ends up solving many cases. Many include: the “American Cockroach”, “Micro-Prickly Bug”, “Knocking Head Insect”, and “Multi-eyed Lycaenidae”.
In the process, he solves the mystery of his own life. Jing Tian uncovers the real murderer who has hidden for many years.
