Plot Synoposis:
In 1938, wars were happening all over China. Wang Yun Shan, head of the Independent Regiment of the Eighth Route Army, is uneducated and has a fiery temper, but holds an extraordinary military mind.
He dares to fight hard and surprise his enemies, repeatedly inflicting heavy damage on the Japanese army. He quickly becomes famous, but what follows was a crazy Japanese attack.
In the battle of Cangyanling, Wang Yun Shan lures the enemy deeper and becomes in danger. Du De Yong, commander of the “charge ahead” cavalry regiment, and Guo Xun Kui, commander of the 178th division of the Suqiu Sichuan Army, come to the rescue and destroy the Japanese army.
The Japanese commander Yu Shinagawa hated Wang Yun Shan and Guo Xun Kui for his defeat. He assembles his soldiers in Lecheng, trying to annihilate them in one fell swoop.
The appearance of nurse Han Yan and rich daughter Liu Zhi bring an unlikely help to defend Lecheng. Together they use their blood and youth to build a new future in China.
