Plot Synopsis:
The prosecutors Li Yun Lin and Yi Meng Yao of the Criminal Procuratorate of Jianghai City are appointed by the unit leaders to form a team.
In their work, the pair of partners had little conflicts at first, but when they perform the criminal prosecutorial functions of the People’s Procuratorate, they cooperate tacitly, learn from each other’s strengths, and accomplish the important tasks assigned by the leaders.
They intervene in a criminal homicide case in Jianghai City in advance according to the unit’s assignment. They found many doubts when reviewing the files, so they reasonably exercise the “self-supplementary investigative power” granted by the Criminal Procedure Law.
Together they use modern procuratorial techniques and microcomputer expressions. Through repeated combing and analysis of various clues, the true culprit behind the case can be accurately judged.
Li Yun Lin and the others quickly launch a series of supplementary investigation activities, find evidence, unearth the real perpetrator, review the arrest, and file a prosecution, finally letting the truth come to light.
