Summary: The Chinese drama focuses on the social issues of elderly care, with a warm and healing style. It tells the story of two “post-90s” young people who undertake and rebuild nursing homes and a group of elderly people in their 80s.

Plot Synopsis:

“Sunshine House” is a nursing home founded by Grandma Lin. It is small but very warm. Inside there are a group of elderly people with different personalities.

“Post-90s” Ye Xiao Mei lives a happy and comfortable life under the protection of her grandmother. When her grandmother is diagnosed with advanced liver cancer and passes, she is handed over the nursing home that was her grandmother’s life’s work.

The thinking and enthusiasm of the “post-90s” on one hand injects new vitality into the nursing home, but on the other hand, constantly conflicts with the elderly. In this way, the secret and touching stories behind every elder slowly emerged.

From the initial collision to the final acceptance between the young and the old, everyone’s life changes for the better.

With the advancement of urban planning, the “Sunshine House” is included in the scope of demolition, and the elderly are forced to accept the drastic changes. In the end, Xiao Mei who can’t let go of the “Sunshine Home” decides to rebuild the nursing home and assume her own responsibilities.

In the reconstruction process of the “New Sunshine House” the begin to focus on taking care of those with Alzheimer’s disease. The elderly are no longer just residents, they begin to find the “truth” for the patients with Alzheimer’s disease. The world allows them to live out their favourite and missed years and scenes at the end of their lives.

When the nursing home is demolished and rebuilt, it becomes not only a house for shelter but also a place to harness and create sincerity between people.

A slippery health product salesman, he carries with him his father’s debt, and depends on his grandfather. Unexpectedly, he becomes blocked by the lender again because his ex-girlfriend left him with false information and ran away after borrowing 100,000 yuan.
