Plot Synopsis:
Qiu Dong Na grew up in a difficult single-parent family. She is diligent and outstanding and hopes to rely on her own struggle and hard work to give her mother Qiu Xiao Xia a better life.
After graduating, Dong Na faces the ups and downs in employment, and eventually stumbles into the “extraordinary” office opened by an old acquaintance Gu Fei.
The other partner of this company turns out to be Cheng Fan Yang, the stepmother of her first love, Bai Shi Chu. Gu Fei comments that Qiu Dong Na is a “handy knife”, but Dong Na remains wary of an unusual boss like Gu Fei.
How could Qiu Xiao Xia’s daughter give in to life? Faced with a seemingly impossible task for a newcomer, Qiu Dong Na fully demonstrates the wisdom of life learned from her mother. She remains flexible, and frequently uses strange tricks to resolve the dual problems in work and life.
At the end, Qiu Dong Na and Qiu Xiao Xia do not get rich and embark on the pinnacle of their lives. They just learn more deeply the meaning of cherishing, kindness, maturity and redemption.
Gu Fei, who suffers severe life and emotional damage due to family affairs, confirms that Dong Na is his true soul mate.
