Plot Synoposis:
Fan Yan Na State invades across the border, and 19-year-old King Qi Pei Yan Zhi was in danger. He fought bloody battles but in the final battle of the valley, the entire army was annihilated.
King Qi, who escapes from the dead and returns to the court, is condemned by King Yun, who strips away his military power. Faced with King Yun’s support for the young emperor to ascend the throne, he secretly wants to seize the imperial power.
Eventually King Qi and the young emperor reach a tacit agreement and he chooses to give in temporarily.
Since then, King Qi stops interfering with court affairs, secretly takes on the name of Pei Zhao, and begins to play. In fact, he secretly investigates and vows to discover the truth about the defeat.
Because of the investigation on the case of the loss of silver from a disaster trafficking, Pei Zhao meets Su Ci in Qingshui County, who was not a member of the Department of Spiegel. He becomes interested in her cold personality and superb crime-solving abilities.
On the way, Pei Zhao and Su Ci met Xie Bei Ming, the young owner of Feiyun Villa, and Dong Ru Shuang, the daughter of the Poison King. The four form a detective team. As the cases are solved, the danger gradually approaches.
Su Ci’s true identity is revealed, and the truth of the war that year gradually surfaces. The investigative team becomes involved in the court’s power struggles.
The truth, love, friendship, family affection and other tests follow one after another.

Chen Yao 陈瑶 as Su Ci 苏瓷
