Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from Anai’s novel “Not to Die”. Plot Synopsis:
Xu Ban Xia, Tong Xiao Qi, and Chen Yu Yu start their business from scratch. At first, they collect scrap steel for profit. Later, they gradually come into contact with the steel industry and begin to deal with large state-owned enterprises, foreign enterprises, and private enterprises.
During their long entrepreneurial years, they meet Zhao Lei, Wu Jian She, Qiu Bi Zheng, Gao Yue Jin, and other various business figures, discovering the cruelty and ruthlessness of human relationships and business disputes.
With her unique vision and courageous personality, Xu Ban Xia overcomes all obstacles in the iron and steel industry where men gather together, and breaks through the industry barrier. During this period, Xu Ban Xia experienceds the contradictions and struggles between conscience and capital, morality and interests. There are pains, twists and turns, but also sweetness and gains.
