Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from RC cartoonist’s ancient crime-solving work “Dali Temple Diary”. Plot Synopsis:
The story takes place in the divine capital under the rule of the Queen. At a night banquet in the Tang Palace, Li Bing was appreciated by the Queen and was appointed as the Shaoqing of Dali Temple.
In Dali Temple, Chen Shi, Wang Qi, Alibaba, Cui Bei and Sun Bao, under the leadership of the new Shaoqing White Cat Li Bing, work together to clear away the fog of the divine city, support each other, resist fate, and adhere to the justice in their hearts.

Ding Yu Xi 丁禹兮 as Li Bing 李饼
The sixth son of King Zhao Li Fu (Li Bao is the seventh son), the former lord of Tianshui County. He was implicated in the political struggle and was assassinated by Lai Junchen. Later, his younger brother Li Bao replaces him and turns him into a cat to save him. He serves as the Shaoqing of Dali Temple.
Zhou Qi 周奇 as Chen Shi 陈拾
A young man from the Chen family in the suburbs of Luoyang who comes to Luoyang after his mother dies to find his twin brother. By chance, he becomes a scribe of Dali Temple and a follower of Li Bing. He is responsible for Shaoqing’s daily life and food every day and also delivers medicine to Shaoqing on time. Later, he becomes involved in the case of the black Rakshasa entering the palace to assassinate Wu Mingkong. He is forced to flee due to his similar appearance.

In his spare time, he paints erotic pictures which become unexpectedly popular. His job is to draw a portrait of the prisoner based on the reporter’s description and help others investigate the case. He had been in a melancholic mood before coming to Dali Temple. Because he is determined and unaffected by the dark clouds, he finally finds his group of friends.
