Summary: The Chinese drama is based on the novel of the same name by Hou Zhu. Plot Synoposis:
In high school, Lu Jia has a crush on Xu Jia Xiu, who had a good character and was smart. But after graduation, the two slowly lose contact with another.
After working hard for many years, Lu Jia returns to her hometown of Dongzhou to grow her career. She joins a new company and discovers that the founder is Xu Jia Xiu. The two also become neighbours by accident.
Lu Jia, who thought that time changes all, found herself in love with Xu Jia Xiu all over again due to his work ethic.
Ye Ang Yang, who had a crush on Lu Jia in high school, joins the same company. He pursues Lu Jia, but Lu Jia only has eyes for Xu Jia Xiu.
After a series of misunderstandings and twists and turns, Lu Jia and Xu Jia Xiu finally admit their feelings and start a relationship.
However, the appearance of Xu Jia Xiu’s first love Yang Shan Ni creates new obstacles for them. Song Juan Xi, a businessman who had been rejected by Lu Jia, approaches Lu Jia again on the grounds of cooperation, also triggers a crisis of trust between Lu Jia and Xu Jia Xiu.
In the end, the two of them work hand in hand to solve the struggles in their career and emotions, and achieve success together.
