Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from You Si Jie’s novel of the same name. Plot Synopsis:
During the Longhua period, Bu Yin Lou, a talented person who was supposed to be buried, is rescued by Xiao Duo because of the emperor’s fancy and is placed in Xiao Duo’s house. The two get along day and night, and gradually fall in love, but due to their status, they have to hide their feelings deeply.
Xiao Duo heads to the south of the Yangtze River to supervise the silk and satin trade with foreign countries, and Yin Lou heads south with him to visit relatives.
During this period, the two fell in love and finally confess to one another. Under the emperor’s suppression, one mistake eventually leads to death. Yin Lou sacrifices herself for the sake of the overall situation and decides to enter the palace. Xiao Duo, who didn’t know where she was, misunderstands her actions. What will be the fate of the two?
