Plot Synoposis:
During the period of Liu Song Yuan Jia, the world was full of chaos, and fledging emperor Liu Yi Kang was unfamiliar with how to rule. Desperate to save his kingdom, the emperor was willing to do anything to change the current state. He secretly travels the land and visits the people, and encounters the kind and just Li Ge.
The two join forces with each other to fight against the evil Lu family, who was plotting to take him down. In order to strengthen his position in court, Liu Yi Kang had to find a powerful ally through marriage with the Shen family.
Then Shen family has strong military power and can provide the strength Yi Kang needs to enact the reform necessary to oust the aristocrats bent on destroying the nation. With the family’s brilliant and beautiful, Shen Li Ge by his side, the two begin the arduous task of reformation.
They face off against the nation’s most powerful and corrupt clans, trying to suppress the families of Lu, Xie, and Wang. Li Ge remains by his side, assisting him to turn the tide and implement the reform yet peace doesn’t come without a price. Eventually, the two people’s feelings strengthen as they face the crisis together, and finally create a prosperous nation.
