Plot Synoposis:
The imperial power was rotten, the nobility were extravagant, and had no disregard for the life and death of the people.
Princess Wang Xuan, and her childhood sweetheart Zi Dan, the third prince, become involved in a court battle because of the prophecy of “getting the world”.
Becoming her father’s chess piece, Wang Xuan marries Wang Xiao Qi, a poor family member of the noble line. On the night of the wedding, Xiao Qi is forced to leave the capital, Wang Xuan is ashamed and frustrated.
Prince He Lan kidnaps Wang Xuan to seek revenge on Xiao Qi, and after the ordeal, the couple fall in love with each other. Wang Xuan is moved by Xiao Qi’s wish to guard the prosperity of the world and restore peace.
Later, the two become separated because of the conflict between the king and Xie clans, and the queen mother frames them.
The two reunite after untold hardships, annihilate the rebels, and quell the Helan chaos on the border. When the rebel generals attack, Wang Xuan desperately escorts Zi Dan out of Beijing to protect his safety.
Wang Xuan leads the troops to defend the city. After nine deaths, Xiao Qi finally protects the border and hurries back.
In the end, the couple joins hands to create a new era and protect the people of their homeland together.
