Plot Synopsis:
This drama follows the story and novels of Bao Zheng, otherwise known as Bao Qing Tian. In this adaptation, a young Bao Zheng goes to take his civil service exams at the capital. During his time there, he stumbles upon different puzzles and works to solve the case with his friends Gongsun Ce and Zhan Zhao. At the same time, Bao Da Niang becomes involved and Bao Zheng works to clear his mother’s name when she is blamed for something she didn’t do. In another chapter, Bao Zheng heads to Wuji Inn and solves the case of the blood spirit forest. In the Soul Village, he and his friends must work to solve the conspiracy and the secrets of the palace.

Xia Zhi Yuan 夏志远 as Bao Zheng 包拯
Bao Zheng is a very intelligent person, good at solving cases and playing chess. He is proficient in all kinds of things related to wisdom and logical reasoning, but sometimes seems dull in life, especially when facing the opposite gender. He likes to joke around, his language is witty, and he often interacts with Gongsun Ce.
Fu Zi Ming 傅子铭 as Gongsun Ce 公孙策
Gongsun Ce has always been a gentle and handsome son, handsome and stunning. In the eyes of others he has always been the “perfect child”. He is narcissistic, has a poisonous tongue, is picky, but takes responsibility at critical moments.
