Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from the novel of the same name and tells the story of a son named Xu Feng Nian who eventually grows into the King of Northern Liang after many tribulations and sufferings.

Plot Synopsis:

In order to avoid being the servant of Princess Sui Zhu, Xu Feng Nian, the “world’s number one dandy” and the elder son of Bei Miao, fades away from beautiful clothes and hides away under the arrangement of his father Xu Xiao.

After three years of travel, Xu Feng Nian, who has kept a low profile, washes away the dirt and appears a new man. He never wanted to follow the life plan laid down by his father, and even more unwilling to take over Northern Liang, because becoming the king means becoming a lonely person without feelings.

But when Xu Feng Nian gets the crown in the snow and learns that one of his dearest relatives have left him, and sacrificed for him, he experiences the darkest moments of life.

He finally makes up my mind to become a king of Northern Liang, one who is completely different from his father. No matter how difficult it is, he can’t compromise, so he learns martial arts, and becomes a warrior with his innocence and hard work.

Zhang Ruo Yun 张若昀 as Xu Feng Nian 徐凤年
The son of the prince of Northern Liang, his father is Xu Xiao, and his mother is Wu Su.
