Plot Synopsis:
After graduating from university with a philosophy degree, Shandong native Shang Jin decided to remain in Beijing. He starts a life with Beijing girl Li Mao, who was his university friend. Li Mao majored in outdoor environmental design but currently works in indoor environmental design.
Li Mao and her best friend Mao Mao open up a new home studio in Beijing. She doesn’t introduce Shang Jin to her parents because she knows her parents want her to find a boyfriend with a Beijing identity.
So, Shang Jin gets admitted into the first batch of professional community mediators in the Beijing Judicial Bureau, and becomes a glorious community mediator and a Beijinger. After, Li Mao brings Shang Jin to meet her parents. They learn that things are far from simple, and they gradually enter a new siege of marriage and a new phase of their love.
