Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Wei Yu. Plot Synoposis:

During a trip in the forest to search for roots, young designer Qin Fang accidentally touches a mechanism which unlocks Si Teng who has been sleeping for many decades.

Si Teng, confused about her past, forces Qin Fang to help her find the truth about her life.

She gradually feels the selflessness and help from Qin Fang, and discovers the novelty and beauty of the world.

But in their way is Bai Ying, who becomes obsessed with Si Teng. Bai Ying has set up many obstacles on the path of their growth together, and their journey is filled with suspense and danger.

Jing Tian 景甜 as Si Teng
An alien who awakens after being asleep for many decades. She was originally a naive and ignorant girl but Qiu Shan creates her to become his weapon. Because Qiu Shan was tempted by fame and fortune, she gradually grows up to be his puppet, and was later killed by her own double, Bai Ying. She sleeps for many decades and Qin Fang wakes her with his own blood.

Zhang Bin Bin 张彬彬 as Qin Fang 秦放
A tender, kindhearted, and passionate man. Qin Fang is handsome and rich. He falls off a cliff in a car accident and his blood resurrects Si Teng. Si Teng chooses him to be her servant and he must help her complete a list of 5 things. After, they accidentally fall into a conspiracy from 70 years ago. Qin Fang discovers that he’s had an entanglement with Si Teng from early on. He is silly and sweet, loyal, honest, and pure.

Supporting Characters

Li Mu Chen 李沐宸 as Shen Yin Deng 沈银灯
She looks exactly the same as Qin Fang’s first girlfriend, and she knows Si Teng very well. Yin Deng originally belongs to one of the sects and has a fierce personality. She kills Shen Cui Qiao and pushes the blame on Si Teng. Later, Ma Gu Dong injures her seriously and she takes on a new identity as Ma Gu Dong’s disciples. Later, Si Teng strips her of her demon power.

Zhang Yi Chi 张亦驰 as Yan Fu Rui 颜福瑞
Qiu Shan’s apprentice, he is skilled at making scented incense, but lacks the skills of the sect. He has a simple and straightforward personality and was originally hostile to Si Teng. Later, because his apprentice is killed by Shen Yin Deng he turns to Si Teng and becomes an undercover agent for her.
