Plot Synopsis:
A remake of the 2017 film, Our Shining Days starring Xu Lu and Peng Yu Chang.
It is a story that revolves around the competition and clash between the Chinese orchestra and Classical orchestra. Set in a fictitious world in a music school, the Chinese orchestra and Classical orchestra students don’t like one another. They both think the other students are “tacky” and “pretentious”. Chen Jing, a student that plays the yangqin, remains indifferent to the rivalry. But, she finds it problematic when she falls in love with Wang Wen, the piano prodigy. She works to prove herself to him by forming her own band to change his mind about Chinese instruments. She joins forces with Li You, her best friend, and four other girls.
The girls name their band “2.5 Dimension”, a tribute to the blending of 2D and 3D. They perform at many concerts and conventions and gain the love of the people.
