Plot Synopsis:
Female lawyer Xu Jie is invited by Li Gong Ming, a partner of Mingtang Law Firm, to come to Mingtang because of her emotional and career frustrations in her original city, and becomes a lawyer-in-training of the firm.
Xu Jie’s main task is to handle the bribery case of Chen Wen Guang, another partner of the law firm, for Li Gong Ming. At the same time, she also needs to start over in a new environment.
Xu Jie is assigned to the legal aid department with almost no resources, and becomes a colleague with Chen Ran, who is Chen Wen Guang’s daughter.
Chen Ran has been secretly investigating since her father was imprisoned. After Xu Jie comes to the firm, the two lawyers with different ideas gradually become acquainted with each other. They slowly grow into confidantes that trust each other.
