Plot Synopsis:
The drama is an adaptation of Jiu Xiao Qi’s novel “Your Majesty, Please Respect Yourself” (陛下请自重). It follows the story of Tian Qi serving as a doctor in the palace and the different events that she encounters.
Tian Qi serves as a doctor in the palace and is transferred over to Jie Du Shi manor, where she meets new people and faces different obstacles. She meets a doctor who loves money and the cold-hearted Ji Heng, An Dong General of Jie Du Shi. The master and servant frequently confront each other and they accidentally discover Tian Qi is actually a female. After many events they fall in love with one another, but will they end up together?
Watch Factor:
From the looks of the trailer, everything looks pretty exaggerated. The reactions and the sound affects are pulled way out of proportion, which I don’t like as it makes it look fake. I can’t get over how cute Huang Jun Jie is so I think that’s my draw towards watching this drama. Sun Qian is pretty cute herself. There seem to be some very cute CP moments and it looks like a typical drama where they’ll go through ups and downs. She finds out he’s the one that put out the order to have her parents killed and the second male lead also is a roadblock in their love. The drama looks cute, decently light hearted, and a fun watch. A plus to it is that it’s only 28 episodes! Yay to short dramas 🙂
