Plot Synopsis:
Zhuang Yu, a professor of botany dedicated to the cultivation and research of Artemisia annua, devotes himself to scientific research, and is indifferent to worldly fame and social relations. This also inadvertently hurts Yu Mei Ren, a country girl who has a crush on him many years ago.
Many years later, Yu Mei Ren obtains a doctorate in ornithology with honors, but because she does not want to bear the pressures of scientific research, she switches careers and becomes a fashion blogger, and accidentally forms a relationship with Zhuang Yu again.
Zhuang Yu heads to Qingshui Village to conduct field research, and happens to live in Yu Mei’s homestay.
With the help of Yu Mei Ren, Zhuang Yu’s scientific research progresses smoothly. At the same time, he feels the love and warmth that plants can not give from Yu Mei Ren.
Yu Mei Ren is also infected and inspired by Zhuang Yu’s dedication to academia, and determines to shoulder the responsibility and use what she learned to give back to her hometown.
One of them keeps forging ahead to overcome difficulties, and the other actively advocates environmental protection. Although the two young people have different starting points, they walk hand in hand with love because they share the same ideal of building their motherland and hometown.
